Job Description

What You’ll Do :

Reporting to the Assistant Service Manager, Home & Auto Program, you’ll connect with customers and prospects, understand their needs, and recommend insurance solutions. Your goal is to build relationships, deliver exceptional service, and drive sales with tailored insurance products.

The Core Parts Of Your Role Will Be To :

  • Prospecting & Relationship Building : Research, qualify, and engage potential clients, respond to inquiries, assess needs, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Sales Development : Build relationships through inbound calls, follow-ups, and outreach from marketing campaigns.
  • Expanding Accounts : Identify opportunities within existing accounts to increase sales, develop contact strategies, and maintain communication with underwriters.
  • Client Retention & Support : Support current members, provide information, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Inquiry Management : Handle calls, process quotes, update information, and assess risks.
  • Market Insights : Monitor client reactions to competitors and suggest product improvements.
  • File Management : Process changes and maintain documentation.
  • Home Evaluation & Documentation : Perform home evaluations, input calculations, and prepare correspondence.
  • Client Communication & Confidentiality : Maintain up-to-date records, ensure excellent service, and safeguard confidentiality.
  • Reporting & Market Knowledge : Keep records for reporting and stay informed on market trends.
  • Additional Responsibilities : Take on extra tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Let’s Talk About You :

  • A valid AMF license is required.
  • RIBO license is preferred or obtainable within a year.
  • At least 3 years' experience in personal lines, auto, and property insurance.
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external interactions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Broker Management Systems, and portals.
  • Fluency in English and French is required.

Working Conditions

  • Availability for evening work as needed.
  • Work environment within a call center setting.
