Job summary

Bauld Insurance Ltd. is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our Halifax team. You will be the primary client contact across in person, phone, and email channels, handling policy changes, coverage questions, and policy comparisons.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of personal insurance experience preferred.
• Level 1 General Insurance License is required.
• CAIB or CIP designation or working toward either is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for clients across channels (in person, phone, email).
• Support clients with policy changes, coverage questions, and policy shopping.
• Guide clients through the claims process and advocate on their behalf.

Role Description

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, delivering exceptional customer service across multiple channels—including in person, by phone, and via email. You will support clients with a wide range of insurance-related needs, such as making policy changes ,answering coverage questions, comparing and shopping policies, guiding clients through the claims process, advocating on behalf of clients when needed.

You will be expected to uphold our Commitment to Excellence and adhere to Bauld's Service Standards, ensuring that the highest level of service is consistently delivered to our clients, colleagues, and management team.

Qualifications

Experience

• Three to five years of personal insurance experience is preferred.

Professional Credentials

• Level 1 General Insurance License is required
• Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) Or Charted Insurance Professional (CIP) Designation or working toward either designation is considered an asset.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of personal insurance products, coverage, and settlement practices.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain insurance products and coverage in clear, accessible language.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple service inquiries
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and brokerage management systems.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
