Job description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of personal insurance products, strong sales skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service.

As a Personal Lines Insurance Broker, you will develop and maintain client relationships, assess clients' insurance needs, and provide tailored insurance solutions to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Other Responsibilities include:

• Provide expert insurance advice to clients, ensuring they receive the optimal coverage to protect their most valuable assets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating empathy and a genuine desire to solve their insurance needs.
• Clearly communicate complex insurance coverages and policies to clients, making them easily understandable.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to a positive and cooperative workplace culture.
• Utilize Applied Systems (Epic) software for managing client information and insurance processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an insurance broker specializing in personal lines.
• Must possess a Level 1 Insurance License.
• Demonstrated an empathetic approach to customer service and problem-solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain insurance concepts clearly.
• Enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and actively engages with colleagues.
• Superior customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.
• Proficient in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with Applied Systems (Epic) software is a plus.
