Job summary

BrokerLink is seeking a Personal Insurance Advisor to join our Halifax, NS team on a permanent full-time basis. You will sell new policies, quote and service clients, and build lasting relationships with customers while working a 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of sales experience required.
• Nova Scotia General Insurance License and/or CAIB is an asset.
• Exposure to Epic is an asset.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell new policies and write new business to existing or new clients.
• Quote new business through outbound calls, letters, and walk‑in clients.
• Conduct outbound calls to warm leads and build client relationships.
• Coordinate with Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policies.
• Prepare documentation for insurers and issue insurance certificates.
• Keep current on underwriting rules and processes.
• Participate in training initiatives and community marketing.
