Job summary

BrokerLink in Rockland, ON is seeking a bilingual Personal Insurance Advisor to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The role focuses on servicing ongoing client needs, advising on insurance matters, and renewing policies while expanding our book of business.

You will quote new business, liaise with underwriters, and stay current on underwriting rules. We offer competitive compensation, incentives, and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bilingual French/English is a must.
• Minimum 1 year Personal Insurance experience preferred.
• Strong customer focus with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide service for ongoing client needs and advise on insurance matters.
• Sell new policies and write new business for existing or new clients; retain book of business.
• Quote new business via outbound calls, letters and walk-ins.
• Contact underwriters and adjusters to discuss guidelines and policies.
• Prepare documentation for insurers and complete applications.
• Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes.
• Participate in training initiatives and community marketing.
• Process accounts receivable activities and provide guidance as requested.
