A respected brokerage in Calgary seeks a Personal & Commercial Insurance Broker to manage a $2 million book of business. This fully remote role requires strong experience in personal lines, fluency in Korean, and the ability to work independently. The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a Personal & Commercial Insurance Broker to take over a well-established book of business due to an upcoming retirement. The book, valued at approximately $2 million in premium volume, is predominantly personal lines, with some commercial accounts. In this role, you’ll manage all aspects of servicing and growing the portfolio, including renewals, policy changes, and new business. This is a fully remote opportunity, ideally suited to a candidate based in Calgary or surrounding areas.

About You:
You are a self-driven, detail-oriented insurance professional with strong experience in personal lines and exposure to commercial insurance. You're fluent in Korean and confident managing your own book of business, providing exceptional service to clients while working remotely. You value trust, consistency, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a tight-knit brokerage environment.
Necessary Qualifications Include:
Fluency in Korean (required)
Level 1 or Level 2 General Insurance License (Level 2 preferred)
Solid experience with personal insurance; commercial insurance exposure is an asset
Proven ability to manage a book of business independently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Comfort working remotely with minimal supervision
