We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Caregiver to join our team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care and support, ensuring clients’ comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide homemaking services such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, and household management.
2. Offer companionship and assist clients in community activities and events.
3. Administer personal care services following care plan directives.
4. Ensure clients’ emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety.
5. Assist with activities of daily living tailored to client needs.
6. Perform specialized procedures with demonstrated competency after training.
7. Observe, document, and report client conditions and any changes.
8. Follow infection prevention practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Completion of an accredited caregiver training program or equivalent education and experience.
• Knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; French is an asset.
• Ability to provide high-quality community care services.
• Physical ability to assist clients, including lifting up to 23 kg, and perform movements such as squatting, bending, and reaching.
• Reliable transportation; driver’s license and vehicle are assets.
• Clear Criminal background and Vulnerable Sector checks.
