Job Details
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the key point of contact for patients.
  • Contact patients to gather information and educate them on program services.
  • Become a reimbursement expert within your assigned caseload territory.
  • Educate patients on program services, including injection training, pharmacy options, and reimbursement support.
  • Coordinate patient services promptly to ensure rapid and continuous access to therapy.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate the patient journey and onboarding process.
  • Manage coverage to maximize and maintain prescription drug benefits.
  • Interact regularly with insurance companies, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals to support reimbursement processes.
  • Coordinate prescriptions, including initial and renewal.
  • Report adverse events as necessary.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience and Educational Requirements
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset; required for Quebec province.
  • Experience in a customer service environment.
Assets
  • Post-secondary education certificate, diploma, or degree (asset).
  • Experience in reimbursement, call centers, or pharmaceutical industry roles (asset).
  • Understanding of medical information.
  • Knowledge of public, private, and federal reimbursement processes (asset).
  • Experience with CRM systems and Salesforce.com (asset).
  • Project management skills.
  • Previous health insurance or pharmacy work experience (asset).
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Time management skills with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote setting.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in English and French, both oral and written, especially for Quebec and New Brunswick.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Adaptability to change and ambiguity.
  • Adherence to performance standards and procedures.

The successful candidate may interact daily with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.
