Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
  1. Be the key point of contact for patients.
  2. Contact patients to gather information and educate them on program services.
  3. Become a reimbursement expert within your assigned caseload territory.
  4. Educate patients on program services, including injection training, pharmacy options, and reimbursement support.
  5. Coordinate patient services promptly to ensure rapid and continuous access to therapy.
  6. Collaborate with team members across roles to coordinate the patient journey and onboarding.
  7. Manage all aspects of coverage to maximize and maintain prescription drug coverage.
  8. Interact regularly with insurance companies, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals for optimal reimbursement.
  9. Coordinate prescriptions, including initial and renewal processes.
  10. Report adverse events as required.
  11. Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Experience and Educational Requirements :

Requirements :

  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset; required for Quebec province.
  • Experience in a customer service environment.

Assets :

  • Post-secondary education (certificate, diploma, or degree).
  • Experience in third-party reimbursement, call centers, or pharmaceutical industry roles such as sales, managed care, or clinical support.
  • Experience in customer service settings.
  • Understanding of medical information.
  • Knowledge of public, private, and federal reimbursement processes.
  • Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce.com knowledge is an asset.
  • Experience in health insurance or pharmacy sectors is an asset.

  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette skills.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management and sense of urgency.
  • Effective collaboration with program colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Effective communication skills in English and French, both oral and written, especially for Quebec and New Brunswick.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
  • Adaptability to change and ambiguity.
  • Adherence to performance standards and procedures.
