Job summary

Bank of Montreal is seeking a customer-focused Retail Banking Sales & Service associate in Toronto who will deliver exceptional service, identify customer needs, and guide them to banking solutions across branches and digital channels. You will refer opportunities to colleagues, support transactions, and contribute to branch goals while maintaining risk controls and a positive customer experience.

No prior experience required; post-secondary education is desirable, and growth is supported

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or certification in a related field is desirable.
• High-level knowledge of personal, commercial and partner offers, and how each can best serve customers’ individual needs.
• Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smart phones, online tools, and applications.
• Able to help people who don’t find digital applications intuitive to gain confidence in how to use them and to understand their benefits.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a business environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and provide banking solutions via in-branch or digital channels.
• Refer opportunities to BMO colleagues and partners as appropriate.
• Support service requests, transactions, and inquiries with accuracy.
• Maintain risk and compliance with policies to protect customer assets.
• Assist with branch operations including cash handling and opening/closing activities.
