Job summary

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; post-secondary degree or certification in related field is desirable.
• High-level knowledge of personal, commercial and partner offers to serve customers’ needs.
• Confident with social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools and apps.
• Ability to help customers gain confidence using digital banking tools.
• Projects a professional presence and communicates effectively.
• Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions.
• Customer-focused mindset with a willingness to collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and initiate referrals to BMO colleagues.
• Support customer requests for banking services, including transactions.
• Welcome customers and meet banking service needs with seamless execution.
• Advise on digital and self-serve options to simplify banking.
• Review customer profiles and engage in needs-based conversations.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to managers where needed.
• Contribute to branch business results and customer experience.
• Support operational activities such as inventory and applications.
• Manage and reconcile cash transactions between treasury and branch units.
• Execute routine tasks within service level agreements.
• Follow risk and compliance processes to safeguard assets and privacy.
• Stay current with banking products, practices, and trends.
