Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care such as toileting, bathing, and dressing as needed or requested.
  • Respond to resident call bells in a timely manner.
  • Assist with meals and feeding as required.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties including waste, linens, and maintaining resident suites.
  • Complete scheduled deep cleaning of resident suites.
  • Follow care plans and report changes in resident condition or behaviour to the UCP or Charge Nurse.
  • Complete both paper and electronic documentation as assigned.
  • Support a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents.
  • Respect resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Perform delegated tasks and support the care team as needed.

The Personal Aide reports to the leadership team and is expected to support residents with personal care and daily living activities while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. A key part of your role will be to provide compassionate support, promote dignity, and actively engage residents in meaningful daily routines.

Wage Rate:The starting wage rate is $19.47/hour
