Job summary

Prestige Oceanview Hotel in Prince Rupert, BC is seeking a diligent room attendant to join our on-site housekeeping team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering 30–40 hours per week and a starting pay of $19.10 per hour.

No formal education is required and training will be provided. Duties include cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, changing linens, replenishing towels and amenities, and assisting guests with requests.

Qualifications

• Languages: English.
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.
• Experience: Will train.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Dust furniture.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Clean and disinfect elevators.
• Handle and report lost and found items.
• Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
• Provide basic information on facilities.
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
