HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Deliver instruction in theory, lab, and clinical settings across diverse healthcare environments using in-person, online, and real-time formats, including day, evening, and weekend assignments.

Plan, develop, and adapt instructional materials and teaching methods to meet learning objectives, accreditation standards, and student needs.

Ensure students acquire the knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes required for safe and competent practice.

Provide skill demonstrations, supervise practice, assess competency, and deliver formative and summative feedback in accordance with program and college policies.

Supervise, mentor, and support students during clinical experiences, maintaining accurate grades, records, and reports of student progress.

Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment that promotes equity, diversity, student engagement, and success.

Demonstrate professional conduct and adhere to health and safety, program, and institutional policies, maintaining all required professional certifications.

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, committees, and program initiatives, and travel within the Greater Edmonton area as required for clinical instruction.

WHAT YOU BRING

Bachelor's degree in nursing or Diploma in Nursing with a degree in a related applicable health field is required.

CRNA or CLHA registration in good standing

At least 5 years of full-time clinical nursing or nursing education experience (or the equivalent in part-time experience)

Previous formal or informal teaching experience is an asset.

Current BLS, WHIMIS, HBPE, Its Your Move, N95 Mask fit.

Clear Police Information Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
