Job summary

Parkland School Division No 70 Centre for Education in Carnduff, SK is seeking a caretaker for the Carnduff Education Complex. The role is continuing, with hours equivalent to 8 per day and 40 per week, starting as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate has at least a Grade 10 education (Grade 12 or equivalent preferred), a valid Driver's License, and experience in caretaking. Familiarity with cleaning procedures, WHMIS, and basic computer software is expected, with benefits and a defined pension

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred).
• Valid Fireman's Certificate is an asset but not required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Direct experience in the caretaking field would be considered an asset.
• Demonstrated understanding of cleaning procedures, cleaning processes, products and equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of computers and applicable software.
• Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System.
• Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone School Division.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated CUPE 4869 Collective Agreement as listed on our website www.secpsd.ca. The starting wage for this position is currently $22.43/hour along with a full benefit package and an employer defined pension plan.
