Job summary

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) invites applications for a Registered Nurse at Pan Am Clinic, operating room. The successful candidate will hold RN credentials, maintain CRNM registration, and may pursue AORN Periop 101, with orientation support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
• CNA Perioperative Nursing Certification preferred.
• Successful completion of the AORN Periop 101 online course or equivalent Operating Room training/experience preferred.
• Applicants without previous operating room training/experience must complete the AORN Periop 101 online course within three months of employment.

• Provide professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs.
• Lead and coordinate patient care within the healthcare team and facilitate discharge planning.
