Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto is seeking an experienced Registered Practical Nurse to join our Surgery Health Service. The role focuses on patient- and family-centered care, supporting perioperative care before, during, and after procedures.

The successful candidate will hold an Ontario RPN certificate, a PeriAnesthesia certificate or equivalent PACU experience, and BCLS. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, participate in quality initiatives, and be available for on-call

Formación

• Two years of recent surgical nursing experience in the last 3 years preferred.
• At least 1 year experience in PeriAnesthesia Care Unit or ER preferred.
• Must be certified in IV/Blood Procurement, EKG, Wound care management.

Responsabilidades

• Provide perioperative and postoperative nursing care across the surgical continuum.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care.
• Participate in unit quality initiatives and patient safety activities.
• Support on-call rotations and respond to emergencies as required.
