Impro.AI seeks a Performance Strategist to operate at the strategy level of AI-driven organizational transformation, turning client data into business insight and aligning with senior stakeholders to execute the strategy you build.

In a hybrid role with three days in our downtown Toronto office, you will work hands-on with client participants daily, guiding mindset change and habits while owning the resulting measurable outcomes for each engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Able to be in our downtown Toronto office a minimum of three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy for your client relationships: align with client executives, translate performance data into actionable roadmaps, and present the path forward
• Lead strategy calls with senior stakeholders, tailoring presentations that demonstrate clear business value and bringing the analytical-to-narrative bridge that executives act on
• Apply AI with high literacy: as an AI-first practitioner, build with AI to produce real work and point to the measurable change it drove
• Coach and guide clients daily through written communication on the Impro app, driving measurable results through habit formation, hands-on today and increasingly AI-directed as our platform evolves
• Drive each engagement through to a quantified result, holding accountability for the result rather than for delivery of a task alone
• Actively participate in weekly training and planning meetings to stay aligned with team objectives
• Collaborate closely with clients and Impro team members to ensure successful implementation
• Adapt quickly to evolving client needs in a fast-paced startup environment

Job description

As a Performance Strategist, you'll operate at the strategy level of AI-driven organizational transformation. You will turn client performance data into business insight, align with senior stakeholders, and apply AI to execute the strategy you build. You'll utilize our in-house technology to help corporate teams convert behavioural patterns into measurable results and reach their KPIs. You will also work hands-on with client participants every day, helping them develop new mindsets, behaviours, and habits. This role is for someone who wants to own results and operate as the brains of the work rather than its keyboard.

Performance Strategists will work in a hybrid model, with a minimum of three days per week in our downtown Toronto office.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
• Able to be in our downtown Toronto office a minimum of three days per week

You may be a good fit if you:

• Have 3+ years in professional services (consulting, banking, or law), a startup, or customer success, in client-facing work with measurable impact
• Are an AI-first professional who has built something real with AI and can show the measurable change it drove, rather than simply experimenting with AI
• Have genuine depth in coaching, mentoring, or building development systems
• Are accountable for results, and can point to a time you drove a strategy through to a quantified outcome
• Have strong analytical skills, find patterns and translate them into a narrative that executives act on, and are comfortable presenting to a room of senior stakeholders
• Build authentic relationships across all organizational levels
• Communicate effectively in both written and spoken formats
• Thrive in startup ambiguity where building the solution is part of the job
