About the role

We’re hiring a Director of Performance Marketing to take full ownership of paid acquisition at Chexy. That’s across Google, Meta, Reddit, and other platforms we decide on. This is a hands-on, in-platform IC role designed for someone who wants to drive results, not just report on them. You’ll have the runway to test, optimize, and scale campaigns across the full funnel. As our team grows, you may also take the lead on managing performance agencies or contractors. This role is designed for performance-driven marketers who love to learn quickly, execute efficiently, and take full ownership of their channels.

Responsibilities
  • Launch and manage full-funnel paid campaigns across Google, Meta, and Reddit
  • Monitor and optimize CPAC, CAC, and ROAS targets in real-time
  • Design and execute A / B tests, multivariate tests, and audience experiments
  • Audit tracking setups in GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, and other tools — and troubleshoot issues independently
  • Experiment with new platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, or any emerging channels that can unlock growth
  • Identify weak signals early — double down on what works, cut what doesn’t
  • Manage external performance agencies or contractors as needed
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience running paid campaigns on Google and Meta
  • A performance mindset — you’re familiar with testing, iterating, and scaling
  • Comfort with in-platform execution and audience targeting
  • Familiarity with tracking tools like GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, Google Conversions
  • Strong grasp of performance marketing metrics and troubleshooting when performance dips
  • You’re proactive, independent, and results-driven
Bonus Points
  • Startup or high-growth experience
  • Experience with TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or other emerging paid platforms
  • Familiarity with attribution tools and advanced measurement setups
  • A creative eye or interest in jumping into copy or creative brainstorming
