Job summary

PepsiCo Beverages Canada is seeking a Relief Sales Representative to cover vacations and sick days for Territory Sales Representatives in Saskatoon. You will learn portfolios, channels, and routes and prepare to move into a full sales territory.

As part of field sales, you’ll help ensure Pepsi’s products are well represented on shelves and in fridges, build relationships with customers, and execute promotions while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • 1–2 years customer service experience preferred; selling experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated analytical and interpersonal skills; strong presentation abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business with accounts to grow volume and market share.
  • Sell and execute national/local promotions with displays and racks.
  • Provide excellent service and build goodwill with customers.
  • Order effectively to minimize stockouts and outdated products.
  • Use POS materials to stimulate sales; coordinate with delivery/merchandising.
  • Execute sales plans through selling, merchandising, and displays.

Responsibilities
  • Developing business and accounts to increase volume, product distribution, and market share.
  • Selling and executing national and local promotions by soliciting placement of incremental marketing equipment, displays and racks.
  • Providing excellent service to assigned accounts; creating and maintaining goodwill with all customers.
  • Effective ordering to eliminate out-of-stocks and out-of-date product through.
  • Utilizing point-of-sale materials to stimulate sales.
  • Working closely with PBC delivery and merchandising departments to ensure effective service.
  • Executing our sales plans through selling, merchandising and building exciting displays to stimulate sales in an assigned territory.

Who’s a good fit for the team:
  • Bachelor's degree required;
  • 1 – 2 years of customer service experience preferred;
  • 1 – 2 years of selling experience, an asset;
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills;
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and strong presentation skills;
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft;
  • You have a valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
  • Must be able to perform the physical aspects of the job involved in display building and merchandising our products
  • Overnights may be required to relieve out of town routes
