The People Partner is responsible for providing a wide range of strategic and operational HR generalist support. The incumbent will contribute to and play a key role in workforce planning as part of the strategic planning process and support the development of strategies to meet current and future human resources and operational requirements. As the first contact for HR-related issues, the People Partner provides support on various HR functions including recruitment, job evaluation, employee relations, legislative, policy, and collective agreement compliance, performance management, health and safety, and accommodations. The People Partner supports the university's vision, mission, values, and strategic direction, fostering a positive, client-focused team environment of high performance, respect, trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The role also champions the university's priorities of equity, diversity, inclusion, sustainability, and student success.
