At Aker Solutions in St. John's, NL, we are seeking a Junior People & Organization Advisor to join our People & Organization team. In this role, you will support onboarding, offboarding, and HR processes while assisting with benefits, records, and training coordination.

You will collaborate across the P&O function to ensure accurate data, compliant practices, and smooth day-to-day operations in a dynamic energy environment.

Formación

• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) guidelines.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets.

Our St. John’s, NL office is looking for a Junior People & Organization Advisor to join our team!

In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with the People & Organization team to support Training Administrators in coordinating regulatory, offshore, technical, and professional development training. Alongside this, you’ll provide well-rounded P&O support accross the functional area, contributing to smooth day-to-day operations.

What will you be doing?

• Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all required documentation and system updates are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain employee records, personnel files, and organizational data within HRIS and other internal systems.
• Support employees by addressing questions related to HR policies, benefits administration, and employment practices.
• Assist with the administration of employee benefits, group insurance programs, and employee wellness initiatives.
• Compile, analyze, and maintain HR metrics and reports related to recruitment, headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and other workforce trends.
• Assist with workforce planning activities and provide administrative support for organizational changes and staffing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation, company policies, and confidentiality requirements.
• Provide general administrative and coordination.

We think you should have:

• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role
• Working knowledge of Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) guidelines and requirements
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, customers, and management, both verbally and in writing
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and identify data integrity issues
