Job summary

National Bank in Ontario seeks a Banking Advisor to build trusted client relationships and provide comprehensive advisory services for personal and small business clients. The role focuses on understanding client needs, delivering suitable financial solutions, and guiding clients through life events such as mortgages and investments.

Qualifications

• Hold a college diploma (DEC) or equivalent.
• Hold a mutual fund representative (MFR) licence – If not, obtain within three months of hiring with full refund after licensure.
• Advisory service experience, inclusive attitude and openness to diversity.

Responsibilities

• Listen to clients’ needs and resolve complex situations.
• Give advice and offer appropriate solutions for Personal and Small Business clients to meet transaction, investment, personal financing, insurance and estate planning needs.
• Support clients through mortgage renewal or renegotiation.
• Ensure client satisfaction and engagement.
• Refer clients to specialist colleagues for their needs.
• Ensure adherence to compliance and risk management rules.
