National Bank of Canada is seeking a Banking Advisor in the Montérégie region. You will listen to clients, provide tailored banking and investment guidance, and support personal and small business clients with transactions, financing, and insurance needs.

The role offers development opportunities, including pursuing a mutual fund representative licence, with potential progression within the branch and across regions as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a college diploma (DEC) or equivalent.
• Hold a mutual fund representative (MFR) licence – if not, obtain within three months with full refund after qualification.
• Advisory service experience, inclusive attitude and openness to diversity.

Responsibilities

• Listen to clients’ needs and resolve complex situations.
• Give advice and offer appropriate solutions for Personal and Small Business clients.
• Support clients through mortgage renewal or renegotiation.
• Ensure client satisfaction and engagement.
• Refer clients to specialist colleagues for their needs.
• Ensure adherence to compliance and risk management rules.
