Yotpo is seeking an Employee Experience & HR Specialist to join our People team in Toronto. The role blends office management, employee experience, and HR support across Toronto and New York.

You’ll own the NA employee experience budget, plan events, manage the Toronto office operations, and be the first HR contact for staff. Hybrid model with four days in the office.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in HR, office management, employee experience, hospitality, or similar.
• Strong communication, highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Proactive, hands-on attitude with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience planning events or managing budgets is a plus.
• Familiarity with HR systems HiBob and Google Workspace is an advantage.
• Based in Toronto and able to work from the office (on-site 4 days).

We're looking for an Employee Experience & HR Specialist to join our People team in Toronto.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our Toronto office and a key member of our HR team, helping shape the day-to-day experience of employees across our two North American sites - Toronto and New York.

This is a hands-on, people-first role that combines office management, employee experience, and HR support. You'll keep our office running smoothly, create meaningful moments that bring our teams together, and serve as the first point of contact for employees on all things HR. You'll also own the employee experience budget for our North American sites, helping ensure every investment creates a workplace where people feel supported, connected, and excited to come to work.

What You'll Do

Employee Experience

• Own the employee experience budget for our North American sites (Toronto and New York), managing it thoughtfully throughout the year.
• Plan and execute events, happy hours, holiday parties, team offsites, and celebrations that build connection and culture.
• Create memorable moments across the employee lifecycle - from welcoming new hires to celebrating milestones, birthdays, and work anniversaries.
• Partner with the New York site to ensure a consistent, high-quality employee experience across both locations.

Office Management

• Manage the day-to-day operations of our Toronto office, including food and snack orders, office supplies, and equipment.
• Own the relationship with building management and external vendors, handling maintenance requests, deliveries, and facilities issues.
• Keep the office organized, welcoming, and well-stocked - a place people are excited to come to.
• Support workplace logistics such as seating, meeting rooms, visitor experience, and office event setup.

HR Support

• Act as the first line of support for employee questions on HR policies - PTO, parental and maternity leave, health insurance, benefits, and more.
• Assist the HR team with day-to-day operations, including onboarding and offboarding logistics, HRIS data upkeep, and documentation.
• Help communicate HR policies and programs clearly to employees, escalating more complex cases to the right HR partner when needed.
• Support HR projects and initiatives across the employee lifecycle as the team grows.

What We're Looking For

• 1-2 years of experience in HR, office management, employee experience, hospitality, or a similar people-facing role.
• A natural people person - warm, approachable, and service-oriented, with strong communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple priorities and follow through on every task.
• A proactive, hands-on attitude - you see what needs to be done and you do it; no task is too big or too small.
• Experience planning events or managing budgets is an advantage.
• Discretion and good judgment when handling sensitive employee information.
• Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., HiBob) and Google Workspace is an advantage.
• Based in Toronto and able to work from the office - this is an on-site role (4 days in).
