Job summary

Infrastructure Ontario is seeking a People & Culture Programs Coordinator to drive Learning & Development and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives. You will coordinate onboarding, manage the LMS, and support vendor relationships to deliver impactful programs.

You’ll work across the People & Culture team to ensure data quality, provide admin support, and promote an inclusive employee experience through training, communications, and events.

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating learning, employee experience, human resources, talent, or inclusion-related programs.
  • Knowledge and appreciation of learning management systems, employee onboarding practices, and program administration.
  • Experience with Dayforce Learning and Dayforce Performance Management is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Position Purpose

The People & Culture Programs Coordinator provides dedicated program and administrative coordination for Learning & Development (L&D) and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) initiatives. The role is focused on the planning, coordination, administration, and delivery of employee programs that enhance career development, learning, engagement, inclusion, and employee experience. The position also provides flexible support across the broader People & Culture team to help ensure continuity of service during peak periods and team absences.

Learning & Development

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the onboarding journey for new and returning employees, coordinating impactful learning and development programs, and ensuring seamless delivery of corporate training initiatives. You’ll manage our Learning Management System, support vendor relationships, and maintain high-quality data and resources that drive learning success across the organization

  • Coordinate onboarding activities, resources and check-ins and lead orientation for all new and rehires, providing a positive and consistent experience for employees.
  • Assist with the design, scheduling and coordination of learning and development and ED & I programs including the creation and maintenance of communications, templates, materials, guides, presentations and internal sites.
  • Support the annual identification of IO’s corporate curriculum and coordinate corporate learning offerings including scheduling, logistics, communications, registration and follow-ups, sending out coursework, and supporting with room with set-up and preparation of materials.
  • Provide administration for our Learning Management System (LMS) including adding courses and virtual learning sessions, tracking enrolment and completion rates, and supporting internal stakeholders who leverage the LMS.
  • Assist with the procurement of vendors for learning and development and EDI & I programs and proactively maintain our contract management, including processing procurement documentation and maintaining communications and service agreements with vendors.
  • Maintain all learning and development data ensuring quality, consistency, accuracy, and completeness of the data on an ongoing regular basis.
  • Support the Learning Manager and Director Inclusion, with the design and development of learning solutions; assist with facilitation as needed.
  • Be the main point of contact for employees and leaders for learning and development programs, providing daily monitoring and responses to inquiries and providing support for and troubleshooting our learning platforms, as required.

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

  • Administer the EDI team inbox and coordinate timely responses to employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate logistics and accessibility requirements for EDI and Employee Resource Group events.
  • Research and coordinate content related to cultural observances and recognition events.
  • Monitor and help enhance engagement within EDI-related Viva Engage communities.
  • Maintain EDI knowledge resources and SharePoint content, ensuring information remains current, accessible, and organized.
  • Coordinate relationships with external EDI partners and promote participation in learning opportunities and programs.
  • Compile engagement metrics and prepare reports on participation in EDI initiatives and learning activities.

General People & Culture Support

  • Provide cross-functional administrative coordination and backup coverage across the People & Culture team as needed.
  • Contribute to presentations, reporting, documentation, and team initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and program administration practices.
  • Who We Are Looking For

We offer a competitive hiring range of$72,200 to$84,200 (P2 level), pay will align with skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate.
