The People & Culture (P&C) Coordinator, reports to the P&C Business Partner and is a member of the People & Culture team. The P&C Coordinator has a focus on talent acquisition and is responsible for organizing and coordinating the key activities of the team. These responsibilities will be approached through a consistent lens of improving team member experience while championing engagement.You'll be the go-to person for P&C-related inquiries, ensuring smooth processes and compliance with policies.
Day in The Life
You might be wondering what you can expect in a typical day at work. Every day will bring new opportunities, focusing on key responsibilities, including:
- Provide full cycle talent acquisition; support leading multiple requirements simultaneously.
- Enhance the effectiveness of recruitment processes by actively being involved in the recruitment and selection process which includes but is not limited to: management of recruitment files, creation and advertising of postings, resume screening, coordination and conducting interviews, and offer/document drafting.
- Ensure consistency in the quality and delivery of P&C programs to a high standard and ensure program content aligns with the objectives of the People & Culture department.
- Provide recommendations and assistance in improving P&C programs to benefit organizational effectiveness and team member experience.
- Enhance the team member experience by providing exceptional first-line customer service to the Edmonton Airports (EA) team. This includes responding to internal and external inquiries for the P&C department.
- Support the effectiveness and efficiency of the P&C team by providing administrative support services to the Department. Coordination of meetings and events for P&C initiatives and programs. This includes assisting with scheduling and calendar maintenance as needed.
- Support a smooth entrance and exit transition for team members through the coordination of onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Coordinate and oversee activities related to P&C programs (Applause program, Care Packages, Volunteering, Years of Service, etc.). This includes but is not limited to the facilitation of communication and events, research and proposal of best practices.
- Provide support & coordination for P&C team accountabilities as needed.
- Process routine transactions and maintain data integrity in HRIS systems, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
You Have:
- University or College Certificate or Diploma, preferably in business specializing in Human Resources, or equivalent.
- 3+ years experience in Human Resources & recruitment.
- CPHR designation or working towards it, is considered an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Human Resource Information systems (HRIS).
- Superior interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Organizational focus and determination with the ability to deliver fast, positive and quality results in new and uncertain environments.
- Ability to support the execution of company-wide P&C initiatives with excellence in a fast-paced, environment with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated abilities in effective communication skills with both internal and external customers and multi-disciplinary teams; ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to secure and maintain appropriate airport security clearance and acceptable criminal record check is required.
