What- the Role:
On behalf of our client, SWIM is seeking a new People & Culture Business Partner to join a tightknit P&C team of around 10 people. This is a newly created role due to ongoing business growth. The new BP will report directly to the Manager, People & Culture and will collaborate closely with colleagues in talent acquisition and other areas of HR. The Business Partner will support an employee population of around 200 to 250 people (Managers, Employees, etc.) The BP will be partnering across all departments and functions- including folks at the corporate office and the employee
This is a well-rounded role involving employee relations, HR projects, learning & development, HR data management, HR policy development, employee engagement & culture initiatives, leadership coaching, HRIS optimization, etc. Some projects the new BP can contribute to are in the areas of health & safety, total rewards, etc.

Who- the Candidate:
We are looking for an individual with at least 3 years of progressive work experience within HR and around 2+ years in an HR business partnership capacity. We are looking for candidates who have a well-rounded HR skillset and who thrive on a mix of employee relations work and ad hoc HR work and projects. Candidates will have a friendly, clear, and professional communication style, and the ability to build trusting relationships across the business in all departments. Ideally the successful candidate for this role will live in or close to Chilliwack and view the office location as a big plus!
How Much:
Competitive base salary commensurate with level of HR skills, experience, and education- likely in the range of $70,000 to $90,000, with a sweet spot of around $80,000. The company will provide their new P&C Business Partner with a solid overall compensation package, including HR related professional development support, an RRSP match, health benefits including an annual health spending account, and paid vacation time.

Where:
Our client is based in Chilliwack, close to the highway. The P&C BP will be based full-time from this office. There is plenty of free employee parking provided.
