AdaptAbilities is hiring a People & Culture Assistant for a temporary summer role in our Support Office in Edmonton. You’ll support day-to-day P&C operations, assist in recruitment and onboarding, maintain files, and organize internal training.

This is a temporary full-time position from June 1, 2026 to August 28, 2026, Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, based out of our Support Office, with the possibility of extension. The People and Culture (P&C) Assistant will report to the P&C Officer (P&CO). They will provide administrative support for day-to-day P&C operations and processes. This role plays an important role in the fulfillment of AdaptAbilities core purpose, vision, and core values. AdaptAbilities utilizes Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) Grant for various temporary summer positions. CSJ is a program under the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS), which aims to provide flexible and holistic services to help youth in Canada develop the skills and gain paid work experience to successfully transition into the labour market. The program provides wage subsidies to employers to create quality summer work experiences for young people aged 15 to 30 years. Youth must be eligible to work in Canada as a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
Compensation$19 to $20.46 per hour depending on experience.
