Job summary

Precision Drilling’s 2026 Internship Program seeks a HR Analytics Intern who is a current student pursuing a degree in HR or Business Analytics. Based in Calgary, you will support business reporting, dashboards, and data management within HR.

You will report to the Senior HR Analytics Specialist, collaborate with leaders, and gain exposure to Power BI, SharePoint, and data governance. Eligibility includes being 18+, starting May 6, 2026, and housing/transportation in Calgary.

Qualifications

• General fluency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Understanding or exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and enhance HR reports and dashboards
• Create new reports and visualizations to meet business needs
• Complete ad hoc reports and analyses as required
• Build and maintain an HR data SharePoint site
• Support the creation of a structured data library and catalogue
• Ensure data quality and proper documentation
• Contribute to streamlined reporting processes and standardization
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks
• Collaborate with HR Analytics and broader HR teams
• Learn and apply data analysis and visualization best practices
