Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. is hiring a Pega Application Support Analyst for Toronto, ON. The role is hybrid (4 days work from office) with a focus on Unix, SQL, Dynatrace, and ELK in a 6-12 month contract.

You will provide world-class user support, perform system health checks, investigate application failures, and generate reports. The position requires Pega experience, workflow analysis, SQL basics, and monitoring tool proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class user support to a wide variety of employees on a day-to-day basis and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Use organizational and communication skills to manage ongoing issues across technical and business teams.
• Perform system health checks, monitoring, alerting, and take actions as required.
• Lead investigation and analysis of application operational failures through to resolution and drive root cause identification.
• Analyze system monitoring dashboards (Dynatrace) and logging (ELK) to identify issues, conflicts, and risks.
• Produce high-quality support documents and processes for production support.
• Write simple SQL queries against databases and generate reports.
• Establish relationships with IT partners to build influence and impact with business partners.

• Perform system health check| monitoring| alerting| and corresponding action as required.
• Lead the investigation and analysis of application operational failures through to resolution| and drive follow-up for root cause identification.
• Analyze system monitoring dashboard (Dynatrace)| logging system (ELK)| and other tools to identify potential issues| conflicts| and risks.
• Responsible for ensuring the production and maintenance of high quality support documents and processes.
• Write simple SQL queries against database and generate reports.
• Establish healthy working relationships across variety of IT partners / units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners.

• Flexibility to be part of a rotational on-call support model
