Job summary

The Salvation Army in London, Ontario, is seeking a part-time Peer Support Mentor to assist with daily living activities, social engagement, and coordination of care. You will support clients, monitor wellbeing, and maintain confidential records in a residential setting.

The role requires Grade 12 or equivalent, MHFA, First Aid/CPR, and Naloxone training, with at least one year of related experience. Shift work and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Certification in Mental Health First Aid, First Aid and CPR, Naloxone Training.
• At least one year of related experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of OH&S policies and client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support personal needs activities of daily living and social activities.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor client wellness.
• Maintain accurate client records and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with volunteers and staff to engage clients in activities.
