Job summary

Head Medical in Cornwall, Ontario is seeking a Paediatrician to join the Women’s and Children’s Health Services. You will care for newborns, children and teens in a high-volume facility and collaborate with CHEO for complex paediatric management.

The position is full-time and permanent, offering professional autonomy, 24/7 on-call coverage, and a supportive team in a community with strong relocation incentives.

Qualifications

• Licensure: CPSO registration eligibility.
• Specialization: Fellowship in Paediatrics (FRCPC) or equivalent.
• Clinical skills: neonatal management, paediatric acute care, emergency consultation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality paediatric care and 24/7 on-call coverage for the Women’s and Children’s Health unit.
• Manage paediatric inpatients and healthy newborns with a focus on evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Attend deliveries upon request and provide specialist consultations for the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to uphold ICARE values.
• Utilize HIMSS Stage 6 EHR for data management and safety.
