THE OPPORTUNITY

Brockville General Hospital (BGH), in partnership with the Department of Pediatrics at Queen’s University, is seeking a General Pediatrician for a joint academic appointment. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a collaborative Women and Children’s Department within a 172-bed hospital. You will serve a catchment area of 250,000 residents, providing community-based consultative practice and labor and delivery suite coverage. With approximately 300 deliveries annually and a supportive 1-in-3 on-call rotation, you will enjoy a high-volume, meaningful practice while maintaining a vibrant personal life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE (COMPETENCIES)

Licensure: Must be eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).Certification: Preference will be given to candidates who hold or are eligible for certification in Pediatrics (RCSPC) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.Education: MD degree (or equivalent) and completion of postgraduate qualifications in general Pediatrics.Skills: Strong clinical expertise and a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centred care.
