Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current practicing registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Two years' recent, related clinical nursing experience in the designated area or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for pediatric patients on admission and during care.
• Collaborate with families, physicians and inter-professional team to develop and adjust care plans.
• Coordinate nursing care, set priorities, and delegate tasks per protocols and standards.
• Provide teaching to patients and families to support health maintenance and discharge planning.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes per Fraser Health procedures.
