Qualifications

• Graduate degree in data science or related quantitative field.
• Experience supporting quantitative clinical or health research.
• Experience with data management, cleaning, manipulation, and reproducible analytic datasets.
• Experience with large health or administrative datasets; EHR data preferred.
• Strong SQL and statistical programming (R and/or SAS).
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently on complex tasks.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee the team's clinical trial research database, including data structure management, user access controls, data dictionaries, and documentation.
• Merge data from multiple trials within the database, perform data extraction, cleaning, validation, and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, missing data, and inconsistencies in collaboration with research staff.
• Create and maintain analysis-ready datasets to support research studies, manuscripts, presentations, and grant applications.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries and reproducible analytical workflows to support ongoing research activities.
• Conduct statistical analyses and generate tables, figures, and summary reports to support study objectives and research dissemination.
• Collaborate with investigators, research coordinators, trainees, and statisticians to support study design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
