National and International collaborations are important in research, especially when integrating basic, translational and clinical research in the field of childhood, adolescent and young adult oncology. We are currently seeking a Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be a key member of a national team and will be responsible for the facilitation, coordination and management of collaborations within Canada and Internationally.
The national team includes experts in clinical care, genomics, proteomics, biomarker analysis, pathology, biobanking, bioinformatics, drug development, clinical trials, regulatory affairs, patient advocacy, and bioethics. Working closely with Leadership Committee Members, the Program Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations that are needed to accomplish tasks and deliverables needed for the success of the collaborations. This will involve liaising and coordinating with and supporting staff, and maintaining and developing relationships with collaborating institutions, consortiums, and networks across Canada and internationally. The Program Manager position requires a proactive and action-oriented individual with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate is familiar with the current state of cancer genetics and genomics, research ethics, data completion, privacy, protection and sharing, and stakeholder management.
