Job summary

Resource Ability is seeking caring LPNs to join a team providing 1:1 respite care for a child in the Dawson Creek area. The role includes school-based care, tracheostomy support, medication administration, respiratory monitoring, safety, and documentation.

The position is casual with paid orientation and opportunities for advanced skills education, plus benefits such as pension and extended health care. Flexible schedules are offered to fit personal commitments.

Qualifications

• Current practicing BCCNM registration in good standing.
• CPR C / BLS certification or better.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care in the school environment.
• Support a child with a Tracheostomy (advanced paid training provided).
• Administer medications.
• Conduct respiratory monitoring and assessments; ensure safety and documentation.

Skills

We are recruiting nurses (LPNs) to build a nursing support team for a child in the Dawson Creek, BC area. This job will entail providing 1:1 respite care in the school environment, supporting a child with Tracheostomy (Advanced Paid Training Provided), medication administration, respiratory monitoring and assessments, safety and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Current ‘practicing’ registration with BCCNM, in good standing.
• Valid CPR ‘C’ / BLS certification or better
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
