Job summary

Resource Ability is seeking a Pediatric 1:1 Nurse (LPN) to join a home-based care team in Pouce Coupe, BC. This casual role involves delivering 1:1 respite nursing for a child, including infant care, NG tube management, bottle feeding, and medication administration.

The ideal candidate holds BCCNM registration, CPR C/BLS, and demonstrates independence with strong communication skills for family and care teams in a home environment.

Qualifications

• Current practicing registration with BCCNM in good standing.
• Valid CPR C / BLS certification.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care in the home.
• Support infant care including NG tube feeds and bottle feeding.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Monitor respiration and perform routine assessments.
• Maintain safety, documentation and communication with family/care team.

We are recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses to join a nursing support team for a child in the Pouce Coupe, BC area. This job will entail providing 1:1 respite care in the home environment, supporting an infant with baby care, NG tube feeds (care and management), Bottle feeds and preparation, medication administration, respiratory monitoring and assessments, safety and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Current ‘practicing’ registration with BCCNM, in good standing.
• Valid CPR ‘C’ / BLS certification or better
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
