Fraserway RV LP in Whitehorse, YT is seeking a Seasonal Full-Time Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician to ready all rental units for customers, check in new units, set up show displays and assist with inventory photos.

Experience with RV and trailer repairs helps; plumbing, carpentry, or electrical skills are valued. A Level 1 RV Certificate is preferred, a valid Class 5 license, and comfort driving up to 30 feet are required; weekend Saturday shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• RV & trailer repairs experience is an asset.
• Experience with plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work is valuable.
• General house renovation skills are helpful.

Responsibilities

• PDI of all rental units including checking for repairs and basic maintenance.
• Relay major repairs to service department as needed.
• Supply RVs with rental equipment and assist with turnaround of vehicles.
• Topping up vehicle fluids and ensuring a clean workspace.

We're looking for qualified candidates to join our Rentals Team as Pre-Delivery Inspection Technician (PDI). This is a Seasonalfull-time position for our Whitehorse, YT Location.

The PDI Tech is responsible for making ready all service and sales units for customers as well as assisting with checking in new units, show set up and taking inventory pictures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• PDI’s (Pre-Delivery Inspections) of all our rental units. This includes small repairs varying from appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and oil changes.
• Relaying necessary major repairs to theFraserwayService department
• SupplyRV’swith Rental equipment
• Assist the Fleet Coordinator with ensuring a smooth vehicle turnaround
• Topping up vehicle fluids
• Vehicle transfers betweenFraserwayDealerships, storage locationsand externalrepair shops
• Winterize andde-winterizeRV’s
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Other duties as assigned by Rentals Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• RV & Trailer repairs experience an asset
• Experience with Plumbing, Carpentry, or Electrical (Automotive or Industrial)
• General house renovation skills
• Level 1 RV Certificate and experience in RV & trailers would be an asset.
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays
• Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Must be comfortable driving vehicles up to 30 feet
