Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Coordinator

The Pre-Delivery Inspection Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring quality assurance objectives during the Pre-PDI and PDI process.

As we are a highly collaborative team, this role is on-site full-time, and the successful candidate will be required to work in the office Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor QA objectives during project stages with a primary focus on pre-PDI, PDI and turnover stages of both suites and common element
Identifying possible issues affecting building quality and mitigating systemic failures through quality checks, consultant reviews and signoffs, and regular communication with site staff
Inputting and track deficiencies across all stages of post construction through use of Procore
Schedule and follow-up with trades and Handyman to ensure all deficiencies are completed in an expeditious fashion
Review all contract drawings and specifications pertaining to finishing trades to ensure
Fitzrovia standards have been implemented
Execute QA program of underground, amenities, suites, common element, and back-of-house
Liaise with on-site construction staff to ensure Fitzrovia finishing standards are being met or
exceeded
Other duties as assigned by the construction team

Qualifications and Experiences:

Experience in the construction industry, preferably at site.
Working experience with Procore is an asset.
Knowledge of construction processes, including phases, pre-construction and construction is mandatory.
Ability to read and interpret design and construction related documents and drawings.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Understanding of Ontario Building Code (OBC) is required.
Knowledge of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities (AODA) an asset.
