Job description
Overview

Manitoulin Transport has the most extensive transportation network in North America, making it easy to provide dependable on-time delivery and faster transit times. Responsibilities
  • Resolve the daily technical issues reported by end users in the company
  • Make effective use of ticketing system to record, track, and follow-up on open incidents and ensure resolution is set within the SLA’s
  • Troubleshoot problems with laptops, desktops and other equipment and perform hardware replacements or upgrades as needed
  • Provide technical support for Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications, Email, and custom Manitoulin applications and portals
  • Provide training on new and existing applications as required
  • Working with the Infrastructure group when required
  • Create how-to documentation to assist people with various computer tasks
  • Assist with or lead team initiatives
  • Physically install and deploy new equipment as required
  • Be available for flexible hours when required
  • Scheduled to work on-call
  • Maintain asset and system records
  • This is an in office position
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Completion of a college diploma and minimum of 2 - 3 years related experience
  • Experience with the setup and maintenance of network PCs, laptops and printers
  • Ability to fully troubleshoot and support Microsoft Windows and Mac users
