100% Remote with rare travel to office on occasion and for picking up computer equipment during on boarding.

Overview:

Our partner, a major IT systems integrator is looking for a Payroll Systems Analyst to join their end-client as soon as possible. The position is 100% remote anywhere within the province of Quebec and will be starting as a 9-month contract with potential to be renewed. The end-client organization is a French speaking work environment. In this role you will be supporting our client's organization with the management and support of their ERP payroll modules and database in the Oracle EBS Environment. Our ideal candidate should have at at least 3 years of experience with managing payroll systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.) and 8 years experience working in Information Technology. You will be expected to learn and adapt payroll systems support to the client's Oracle EBS environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 8 years of Information Technology experience
• 3 years of experience supporting Payroll Systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc).
• Experience supporting Payroll Systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc)
• Experience with Oracle EBS payroll module is a plus
• Basic knowledge of SQL for querying purposes (no advanced programming required).
• Willingness to be trained and adapt to the organization's Oracle EBS Environment
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and incident resolution skills
• Bachelor's degree/College Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related.

Activities:

• Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the client's payroll systems environment, including system analysis, functional troubleshooting, identifying system issues, existing business challenges and providing end-user support.
• Coordinates maintenance of the organization's payroll-related application environments, including security permissions, licensing, auditing, privacy, and user roles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on client's organization
• Perform routine and emergency payroll support activities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to maintain system availability, security, and performance.
• Leads and coordinates system solutions configurations, upgrades, patches, installations, integration initiatives and system changes, based on best business practices and requirements, with collaboration with stakeholders.
• In-office presence required on rare-occasion for equipment pickup, meetings, and urgent matters.
