Job summary

Pattison Food Group Ltd., a Jim Pattison business, is hiring a full-time temporary Payroll/HR Representative in Langley, BC. You will support the People team with payroll and benefits administration across multiple stores under collective agreements.

The role requires 1–3 years of payroll/office administration experience, proficiency in MS Office, and knowledge of Employment Standards and collective agreements. Workday experience is an asset in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer weekly payroll and HR data for team members across multiple stores under Collective Agreements.
• Administer team member benefits including enrolments, changes and cancellations.
• Respond to inquiries from store payroll clerks, store managers, and team members regarding payroll and benefits matters.
• Review and prepare payment information for various annual payouts.
• Merge and send out documents using MS Word and Email.
• Maintain team member data in Workday.
• Perform other duties as required.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Payroll/HR Representative to join our People team in Langley, BC. This temporary position is expected to last 18 months. Reporting to the Supervisor, Retail Payroll, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team specifically in regards to retail payroll and benefits.

You will be responsible for:

• Administering weekly payroll and HR data for team members across a group of stores under multiple Collective Agreements, including processing weekly pay information, hires, terminations, transfers, and job changes.
• Administering team member benefits including enrolments, changes, and cancellations.
• Responding to inquiries from store payroll clerks, store managers, and team members regarding payroll and benefits matters.
• Reviewing and preparing payment information for various annual payouts.
• Merging and sending out documents using MS Word and Email.
• Maintaining team member data in Workday.
• Performing other duties as required.

You have:

• 1-3 years of office administration experience and a background in payroll and benefits is considered an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• An understanding of Employment Standards legislation and Collective Agreements.
• Previous experience with store-level payroll is considered an asset.
• Experience using Workday is considered an asset.

Compensation Details:

$54,909.00 - $68,636.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
