Job summary

Hansen's Group of Companies in Scarborough, Ontario is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Clerk to join our Corporate HR team. The role focuses on accurate and timely payroll and benefits processing, maintaining employee records, and providing administrative support across the organization.

Qualifications

• University/college degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of payroll and HR experience.
• Working knowledge of Dayforce HCM.
• Working knowledge of Benefits Administration.
• Working knowledge of WSIB / WCB / CNESST / EHT documentation & process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll and benefits accurately and on time.
• Maintain employee records and Dayforce data integrity.
• Onboard new hires and coordinate documentation.
• Respond to employee inquiries and provide payroll support.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment changes and terminations.
• Prepare agency invoices and reconciliations as needed.
• Generate payroll reports and assist audits.
