Whitecap Resources Inc. in Canada is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Administrator to support day-to-day payroll and benefits services.

You will handle payroll changes, data entry, savings plans, reports, inquiries, and records management, with cross-training as backup to the Payroll & Benefits Specialist.

Qualifications

• Payroll certification or progress towards PCP is preferred
• Experience with Canadian payroll, benefits, savings plans, HRIS, or benefits administration systems
• Experience with HRIS, preferably Workday, and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

Responsibilities

• Enter, maintain, and verify payroll and benefits information in systems
• Administer savings plan processes and related communications
• Complete and track benefit-related paperwork and changes
• Respond to employee inquiries confidentially and timely
• Prepare and distribute payroll, benefits, savings, and administration reports
• Maintain training materials and documentation
• Support payroll and benefits administration and assist with process improvements
• Cross-train and provide backup support to the Payroll & Benefits Specialist
