Job summary

First Onsite Property Restoration is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage Canada-wide payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will verify data, collaborate with HR and Finance, and support reconciliations and audits while contributing to continuous process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in payroll, knowledge of Canadian legislation, and experience with UKG and Excel, with PCP certification preferred or pursued.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of confidentiality handling employee information.

You'll play a key role in processing payroll across Canada, keeping everything running smoothly while providing exceptional service to employees and leaders.

This is for a current opening, salary range is: 50,000-55,000 based on experience.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

As a Payroll Administrator, you'll help keep our pay cycles accurate, compliant, and on schedule. You'll process employee payroll, verify data, and check every detail to ensure precision. You'll work closely with HR and Finance to keep records up to date and resolve any discrepancies quickly and professionally. You'll assist with reconciliations, audits, and reports, contributing to accuracy and continuous improvement. You'll also take part in process enhancements that make payroll faster, smarter, and even more reliable. Each day, your organization, focus, and dedication will help ensure our people are paid correctly, supported fully, and confident in the process.

Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in payroll or a related administrative role
  • PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and employment standards
  • Experience with payroll systems (UKG preferred) and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
