Schedule: Per Diem
- Transport patients, specimens, equipment, supplies, and linen throughout the hospital as needed.
- Collect biohazard waste, sharps containers, and soiled linen throughout the hospital.
- Receive transportation assignments from the coordinator, including Patient Transport, Lab Transport, Linen Delivery, Supply Transport, Morgue Transport, Biohazard pickup, and container replacement.
- Complete assignments promptly, notify dispatch upon completion, and receive new instructions.
- Perform quarterly equipment cleaning.
- Attend monthly meetings.
- Perform other duties and tasks as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Friendly and courteous communication with patients and staff.
- Ability to follow printed or verbal instructions.
- Must be able to stand most of the shift and assist in transferring patients from beds to stretchers and wheelchairs.
