Job summary

FYidoctors Vaughan clinic, located in Eagles Landing Plaza, is seeking a Part-Time Patient Services Specialist to deliver exceptional patient service and support. The role involves greeting patients, pre-testing, appointment coordination, billing, eyewear handling, and general clinic operations.

Hours are 20–29 per week, Monday through Saturday, with a fixed-term with the potential for growth. Our team emphasizes collaboration, growth, and excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, manage check-in/check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email.
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care.
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments.
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear.
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required.

Our FYidoctors - Vaughan - Eagles Landing Plaza clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you'll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a part-time fixed-term role until May 2028, working 20-29 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday.
