Job summary

FYidoctors Fort Saskatchewan clinic is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to join us in delivering exceptional patient experiences in a busy eye-care setting.

This part-time role (20–29 hours per week) involves greeting patients, processing check-ins/outs, assisting with pre-tests, coordinating appointments, handling billing, and performing eyewear adjustments, all while maintaining a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
• Previous retail experience is an asset, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email.
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care.
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments.
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear.
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required.

Our FYidoctors Fort Saskatchewan clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a part-time role working 20-29 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email

• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
